Helen and Jim met with Frank Dunbaugh of the Maryland Justice Policy Institute,BaltimoreUSA in August 2010 to prepare for a Transformative Justice Conference in memory of Ruth Morris.

The event will seek invitations from persons interested in defining transformative justice and will create a forum where the definitions can be expanded upon and strategies developed to take the “Transformative Justice” movement to the next stage.

We will update this site and the MJPI  site with news as further progress is made.

Frank (aged 80) works tirelessly with prisoners and at government policy level to lobby for  changes in the US criminal justice system. His energy is totally astounding.

Frank and Belinda were charming hosts, as usual, taking us to a baseball game and having us eat delicious clam chowder within 24 hours of being inBaltimore. Go the Orioles!
